Birth Companion Package

This package is designed for women who want one-to-one support throughout pregnancy and birth, without postpartum visits included.

Package Inclusions:

During Pregnancy:

All birth support packages include a two-day birth education course with Belly, Birth & Bubs. Thorough birth preparation deserves more time and depth than we can reasonably fit into our prenatal sessions alone. The course gives you and your partner a thorough foundation in birth physiology, common interventions, informed consent and practical labour skills. Our sessions then allow us to apply that knowledge to you personally, work through your questions, and prepare for your model of care, preferences, and likely support needs.

Three prenatal sessions and attendance at one key maternity care appointment.

Across our time together, we may explore:

  • Your beliefs, expectations and fears about birth.

  • What helps you feel safe, supported and able to work with your body.

  • How you tend to respond when you feel uncertain, vulnerable or less in control.

  • Your lifestyle and habits that are building your physical and emotional capacity for birth.

  • Practical ways to strengthen confidence and trust in your intuition throughout pregnancy.

  • Birth mapping for the different pathways birth may take and the decisions that could arise.

  • Your preferences, values and how you want to be treated during birth.

  • Common interventions, informed consent, hospital policies and conversations with care providers.

  • Preparing your partner to offer practical, emotional and physical support.

  • Movement, positioning, breath, sound, massage, counterpressure, acupressure, birth fabric, visualisation and aromatherapy.

  • Practical ways to support fetal positioning during pregnancy and birth.

  • How to use a birth sling and TENS machine.

  • Questions or decisions you would like support discussing with your maternity care provider.

I can help you understand antenatal expressing and how to prepare to safely express and store colostrum before your baby is born.

Birth:

From 37 weeks, I am on call for your birth.

You will have access to my collection of birth tools and resources, including birth orbs, birth combs, a birth sling, Elle TENS machine, yoga mats, heat packs, aromatherapy, hypnobirthing tracks, affirmation cards, fairy lights and battery-powered candles.

When labour begins, I support you and your partner through the physical, emotional and practical realities of birth, including early labour support at home, deciding when to move to your birth location, setting up the birth environment, communication with staff and helping you stay connected to what you have prepared for.

I will make sure you are eating and drinking regularly, offering light snacks and my homemade labour aid to keep you hydrated.

Postpartum:

After your baby is born, we will have a check-in to talk through your birth, reflect on your experience, and make space for anything you want to say out loud.

I can connect you with trusted local supports, including women’s health physiotherapy, osteopathy, lactation support, naturopathy, massage therapy, perinatal psychology, postpartum meal services, and other practitioners who may support your wellbeing and recovery.

While we work together, you can reach out with questions, reflections, decisions, or anything you want to talk through as it comes up.

Investment: $2700
