Where useful, we can also spend part of this session preparing postpartum food together.
Postpartum:
Five postpartum visits, each lasting three hours. These visits are intended for use within the first twelve weeks after birth.
Each visit begins with a warm postpartum drink and a mother-centred check-in, giving us space to talk about how you are feeling, how your recovery is unfolding and what kind of care would be most helpful that day. This may include gentle bodywork such as a foot soak, shoulder rub, or warm compress, feeding and newborn care support, help understanding your baby’s cues, or light practical help around the home with dishes, laundry, tidying or resetting your space.
Every visit also includes a nourishing homemade meal and snack for your family. Meals are made with locally sourced, organic and wholefood ingredients wherever possible, and tailored to your family’s dietary needs and preferences.
Depending on what feels right for you, I can source apotheca tea or tonics from a trusted local supplier.
I can connect you with trusted local supports, including women’s health physiotherapy, osteopathy, lactation support, naturopathy, massage therapy, perinatal psychology, postpartum meal services, and other practitioners who may support your wellbeing and recovery.
While we work together, you can reach out with questions, reflections, decisions, or anything you want to talk through as it comes up.
